About National Youth Basketball Tournaments
The American Youth Basketball Tour’s summer events culminate in one of three national tournaments. National tournaments offer boys and girls basketball teams an opportunity to play against youth basketball teams from across several states in a family-friendly environment. Every year, teams look forward to the last day of this event that includes an exciting single-elimination tournament.
All teams have the opportunity to attend a national youth basketball tournament of their choice. National tournaments guarantee seven games and are held over a four-day period in the last two weeks of July. Our national tournaments give teams six round robin games with the seventh game starting a single elimination tournament.
Brackets are from 8 to 16 teams, so most grade divisions have two or more brackets, each with a first and second place team trophy and individual medals.
